Trade Mission Water Sector Moldova
The Dutch Moldovan Business Council warmly invites you to participate on the trade mission to Moldova from the 4th until the 6th of March. The mission is focused on opportunities for Dutch companies and institutions in the water technology and management sector. More information can be found here (Dutch)
In February 2015 the Biofach took place in Nürnberg. The Biofach is the world’s leading trade fair on organic food. In collaboration with the EaP Green Program (implemented by the OECD, UNECE, UNEP and UNIDO), GIZ Moldova and IFOAM, the DMBC has organized an Moldovan/Armenian pavilion on which six Moldovan companies could promote their organic products. It was for the first time that a Moldovan pavilion was realized for the Biofach. The following Moldovan companies participated on the Biofach:

- Nimorinka – Fruit Brandy
- Black Sea Seeds – Vegetables, herb, green manure and flower seeds
- Vinaria din Vale – Wine
- Equinox – Wine
- Prograin Organic – Supplier of organic grains, seeds and pulses
Trade mission livestock and agro processing sector
The Dutch Moldovan Business Council organized in cooperation with the Embassy of the Netherlands in Bucharest a trade mission for Dutch representatives in the agriculture sector from the 28th of October until the 31st of October 2014. At the trade mission 14 Dutch companies participated from the livestock and agro processing sector. The target of this trade mission was to explore the opportunities that both Dutch and Moldovan companies could benefit through collaboration in the agricultural sector. In order to tap into the whole potential of Moldova, the DMBC organized a tailored matchmaking program for every participant. After the meetings with the representatives from the agricultural sector, the Dutch companies were invited the next day to visit the Moldovan firms in their respective locations. The individualized meetings had a positive effect as they resulted in some amount of follow-ups at the end of the trade mission.
Fact Finding Mission Agro processing and Livestock opportunities in Moldova
From the 18th until the 22th of August two experts, affiliated with the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs, visited Moldova for a fact finding mission in the field of livestock and agro-processing. The two experts Mr. Jos Jongerius (livestock) and Mr. Wim Tacken (agro-processing and horticulture) were assisted by the Dutch Moldovan Business Council. Objective of the visit was to identify business opportunities in these sectors in run –up of the trade mission that will be organized by the DMBC in cooperation with the Dutch Embassy in Bucharest, Romania. III. The First DMBC Business forum in Chisinau

II.Opening of the Moldovan Consulate in Amsterdam
Date: Friday, 17th of January Dirk Terwel, Chairman of the DMBC, was granted the title of Honorary Consul of Moldova in the Netherlands, Amsterdam In the morning, the Minister of External Affairs and European Integration, Natalia Gherman, along with The Ambassador of Moldova in the Kingdom of the Netherlands, H.E. Emil Brenici, came to the Consulate office. Dirk Terwel, the Honorary Consul, welcomed them and told them a bit about his own activity and how he became so involved with the Dutch Moldovan Business Counsel. Later, the Honorary Consul, invited Mrs. Gherman and Mr. Brenici on a canal-boat tour of Amsterdam and lunch. At 15.00 was the start time for the Consulate opening Event, which took place at Tropenmuseum in Amsterdam. About 60 persons attended the event: I. Representatives of other Embassies and Consulates (Romania, Ukraine, France, Columbia, Russia, Italy, Guatemala); II. Dutch businessmen that have worked in the past with Moldova or want to invest in Moldova in the near future; III.Ronny Bechman, from ‘Invest in Moldova’ IV. Representatives from Moldovino (Official Moldovan Wine dealer in Belgium and the Netherlands, who also sponsored the wine for our event) V. Others La 15.15 Dna. Gherman, Dnu. Brenici au fost primiti de Dnu Terwel. There were a total of 6 short speeched at the begining of the ceremony by Mrs Gherman, Mr Brenici, Mr Dirk Terwel, Mr Robert Degroof(Consul of Netherlands in Moldova); as well as Mr. Ronny Bechman and Mr. Phillipe van Houtvin from Moldovino. At about 16.00 the formal part of the event was over and everyone was invited to have some snacks and Moldovan wine. There was a live music band playing Moldovan music. People were socializing; the atmosphere was warm and hospitable – very typical for a Moldova related event.

I. Business Trip to Bucharest
Date: 10-12 December 2013 Scope: There are about 4000 Dutch companies registered in Romania. This was as a result of companies to near-shore and benefit from Romania’s cheaper labor and resources. Our objective was to find out what were the most attractive features of the Romanian Market, that attracted Dutch companies. As well, what kind of assistance can we as DMBC provide to Dutch companies that intend to relocate in Moldova, a similar emerging market. II. Deschiderea oficială a Consulatului Onorific al Moldovei la Amsterdam
Data: Vineri 17 ianuarie, Dirk Terwel, Președintele DMBC, a fost nominalizat Consul Onorific al Republicii Moldova la Amsterdam. Dimineața, ministrul Afacerilor Externe și Integrării Europene, Natalia Gherman, împreună cu Ambasadorul Republicii Moldova în Regatul Tărilor de Jos, ES Emil Brenici, au vizitat birou Consulatul. Dirk Terwel, ia primit și le-a povestit puțin despre activitatea sa în Olanda și cum a venit cu ideea de a fonda DMBC-ul. Mai târziu, Consulul a invitat oaspeții Dna. Ghermăn și Dnu. Brenici să facă un tur a canalelor Amsterdamului după să ia prânzul. La oră 15.00 s-a început partea formală a Evenimentul de deschidere a Consulatului, care a avut loc la Tropenmuseum în Amsterdam. Aproximativ 60 de persoane au participat la eveniment: I. Reprezentanți ai altor ambasade și consulate (România, Ucraina, Franța, Columbia, Rusia, Italia, Guatemala); II. Oameni de afaceri olandezi care au lucrat în trecut cu Republica Moldova sau doresc să investească în Republică Moldova în viitorul apropiat; III.Ronny Bechman, de la “InvestMoldova” IV. Reprezentanți ai Moldovino (Dealer oficial al Vinurilor Moldovenești în Belgia și Olanda, care a co-sponsorizat evenimentul nostru) V. Alții At 15.15 Mrs. Gherman, Mr. Brenici were welcomed by Mr. Terwel at the event. Au fost un total de 6 speech-uri scurte la începutul ceremoniei ținute de dna Gherman, Dl Brenici, domnul Dirk Terwel, dl Robert Degroof (Consul din Țările de Jos în Republica Moldova), precum și dl Ronny Bechman și domnul Phillipe van Houtvin de la Moldovino. La aproximativ 16.00 Partea oficială a evenimentului s-a finisat și toată lumea a fost invitată să servească unele gustări și vinuri moldovenești. Oamenii au socializat, atmosfera era caldă și primitoare, muzică Moldovenească live – un eveniment tipic Moldovenesc.

Data: 10 – 12 decembrie 2013. Scopul vizitei: exista aproximativ 4000 de companii olandeze înregistrate în România. Aceasta este o consecinta a near-shoring-ului și pentru beneficiul resurselor umane din România. Obiectivul nostru a fost de a afla care au fost cele mai atractive caracteristici ale pieței românești, care au atras companii olandeze. De asemenea, ce fel de asistență poate DMBC oferi companiilor olandeze care intenționează să se mute în Republica Moldova, pe o piață în curs de dezvoltare similară.
